Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

From one of the oldest vineyards in Niagara, this Pinot has a medium+ intensity nose that's heavily oak-influenced with toasty oak, red cherry, woodsy and oak spice notes that also come through on the medium-bodied palate. Balanced acids and long, spiced finish. Tasted Jan/2016.

Fielding Estate Bottled Riesling 2015, VQA Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment
Ontario, Canada$16.25
Medium+ aromas of lime, citrus and mineral, with tart/sour aroma replays on the palate. Off-dry in style, but with bright acids that cut into the sweetness. Nice chalky mineral texture that lingers on the long finish. Tasted Jan/2017.

Aromas of medium-high intensity with classic notes of lychee, rose along with some apple and orchard fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with more off-dry flavours rose and lychee that are balanced by delicate, juicy acids. Finish length is very good. Tasted Feb/2017.

The fresh nose has medium+ intensity aromas that are ripe and perfumed with lemon/lime, citrus, Mediterranean herbs, and savoury mineral aromas, all of which come through on the ripe, medium to medium-full bodied palate. Dry and concentrated with delicious aroma replays, plus spice notes. It has well-balanced acidity, while savoury, leesy mineral notes linger on the finish, with very good length. Tasted Aug. 2025.

On the dry, medium-full bodied palate it is well-structured, dense, and concentrated with lovely savoury mineral, earth, toasty oak spice, pear, and apple flavours supported by crisp and vibrant acidity. Really nicely textured with juicy lemon citrus, earth, mineral, and pear/apple notes lingering on the finish, with excellent length. Tasted Apr. 2026. Score: 92+ pts

It all comes through with notable herbal notes on the dry, medium-bodied palate and is supported by juicy acidity. Tannins are somewhat firm and grippy textured, while herbs, dark berry, and macerated cherry notes linger on the long-lasting finish. Tasted May 2025. Score: 90+ pts
