Another Greek wine that takes some time to appreciate, but is well worth it. Reminds me of a Barolo minus some sweetness. Good value, and for once a wine that is ready now.

Fonseca Periquita 2009, Terras Do Sado

Fruity and clean tasting, no harsh edges. Unique taste and great value. I will buy it again.

Sabor Real Viñas Centenarias Tempranillo 2007, Do Toro

Lots of flavour and complexity here. I do not agree with "impeccable balance", there is a minor taste that should not be there. But for the price, I will be buying more of this.

I bought it again, and it was barely drinkable. The oxidative, gritty, meaty parts of the reviews came through. This one is off my list.

Château Cap D'or 2006, Ac St Georges St émilion

Very nice, classic St. Emilion taste. Not a lot of complexity, but no flaws either. For the price it is amazing, a great Bordeaux "house wine" to stock up on.

L.A. Cetto Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Guadalupe Valley, Baja California

Very nice, lots of flavour, especially for the price. A little too much tartness keeps it from reaching the 90 level.

Plunkett Fowles Stone Dwellers Shiraz 2008, Strathbogie Ranges, Victoria

This is a more refined version of your typical Australian Shiraz. As expected lots of flavour, and that slightly harsh finish. Although pleasant to drink, it is not smooth or interesting enough to rate a 90. At twenty dollars is is a reasonable value.

Casa Montes Don Baltazar Cabernet Franc 2008, Tulum Valley, San Juan

This does not really work for me. The taste is a bit raw. I can't recommend this one.

Les Piliers Viognier 2010, Vin De France

David says it all. Great classic viognier.

Piñol Ludovicus Tinto 2010, Do Terra Alta

Why did I buy this? I could not even finish the glass. It might do for cooking, but I would be disappointed even at seven dollars. Stay away from this one.
