Aged ~2 y. in New French oak barrels and over 1 y. in btls.
Intense and polished, superb perfume of exotic spices, sandalwood, herbs, lavender, and assorted black fruits.
Serve at 17°C with game and grilled meats, roasted nuts and mature cheeses.

The non-use of chemicals goes back to 1947. The soils have never been treated with herbicides or insecticides. 40 y.o. vines.
Ageing of the wine is done in the cellar of Château Beauséjour in French oak barrels for over 12 months and then in the bottle.
Serve at 17°C with spiced and roasted red meat, vegetable dishes with mushrooms and young/soft cheeses.

The nose, small red fruits, berries of wood and blackcurrant will entice you. His very present and powerful tannins assert the length and largeness in mouth of this wine.
