Plums, prunes, and herbs with some meatiness on the nose. Plenty of fruit on this medium-bodied and the tannins are starting to soften. Could last for another 2-3 years.

Honey, orange rind, lime, and floral aromas. Very fruity with crisp acidity and a creamy, lengthy aftertaste. Pretty good value.

The Wolftrap Syrah Mourvedre Viognier 2014, Western Cape

Black cherry, pepper, and smoky on the nose. Plenty of fruit with firm tannin. Amazing value.

Cusumano Nero D'avola 2011, Sicily

Black cherry, spices, and vanilla on the nose. Medium bodied with some green tannins, maturing fruit, and a slight bitterness on the finish.

Quinta De Baixo Tinto 2008, Doc Bairrada

Black cherry, mint, coffee, chocolate, and spices on the nose. It is very fruity with softening tannins, is medium-bodied, and can last until 2004-2005. Incredible value.

Penfolds Koonunga Hill Chardonnay 2011, South Australia

Butter, green apples, minerals, and lime on the nose. It is medium-bodied with a crisp acidity and plenty of fruit. Pleasant enough, but not well integrated.
