I learned to love the tasty juice through my education at George Brown College. I believe there is a perfect bottle for every occasion. I like my Italians Red, my Frenchies White, my Americanos black, and my Brazilians blonde. I believe wine goes with food, with friends, with music, and with days of the week that end in Y.
Cheers to getting your wine on.

Cistus Reserva 2007
Douro, Portugal$12.95
Welcome to Portugal. This is made from the same grapes as Port, so its nice and tasty but without the sugary headache. Grab some Balderson cheddar and say hello to the neighbors as you sip this on your front stoop.
Casa De La Ermita Idílico Crianza Selección 2006
Murcia, Spain$19.95
A nice blend here from the Jumilla region of Spain. Back to school and this wine reminds me of Sesame Street. It has a nice round nose like Ernie, its plush and rich like Oscar the Grouch's fur, and you'll open your mouth as wide a Grover's to get as much down as you can. Hello Everybodeeeeeee, it's a nice bottle of wine to pair with seared meat.
Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2010, Marlborough
New Zealand$18.95
The Kiwis have perfected this grape. Be sure this is cold when you serve it or Dad won’t think its sweet enough. This goes perfect with a well-salted asparagus side dish, those hideous purple napkins Mom pulls out, and a game of Catch Phrase.
Quinta De Ventozelo Touriga Nacional 2008
Douro, Portugal$19.95
What a tasty, affordable number from Portugal here. Its like Willy Wonka getting spanked with a basting brush. Its got licorice, chocolate, and a whack of bruised herbs. Delicious bottle to enjoy with Elk blueberry sausages. Buy 2 or 3 as "a little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest men."
Canonica A Cerreto Sandiavolo 2006, Igt Toscana
Tuscany, Italy$24.95
A really nice Super Tuscan from the bottom of the Chianti Classico region. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet in this one. Like Ben Johnson in 1988. Its brooding, powerful and dense, and it’ll disappear so fast in your glass, you’ll know you’ve been cheated. Decant it and serve it with steak Florentine.
Henry Of Pelham Reserve Baco Noir 2009, VQA Ontario
Ontario, Canada$24.95
The Speck Brothers at Henry of Pelham reign as the Baco Noir kings. Their Reserve Baco is consistently the best in Ontario. This Baco Noir is like Russel Crowe riding a horse through muddy water. Its intense, rugged, and smells like a long wet leather jacket. Pair this with roast beef and saddle up on the 3:10 to Yuma.
Emiliana Signos De Origen La Vinilla Chardonnay/Viognier/Marsanne/Roussanne 2010, Casablanca Valley
Casablanca Valley, Chile$19.95
Hello juicy wine, welcome to my salivary glands. This masterful bright blend of white grapes will please any wine drinker. Like Katrina & The Waves hanging out on your dock. It’s like Walking on Sunshine and this wine makes me feel good…… Alright now. Feel alive and pair this with good friends and afternoon rays of sunshine.
De Bortoli Windy Peak Pinot Noir 2010, Yarra Valley, Victoria
Victoria, Australia$13.25
This is a great light summer sipper from a very established producer Down Under. A great deal too. Like the Beatles eating Chinese food with a little help from their friends. It’s got a friendly warm color, smells sweet, and finishes sour. Do you need anybody…. or any Pinot? This is somebody you’ll love….. with some lamb sausages.
R De Romaneira 2007, Doc Douro
Portugal$16.65
Like Eddie Murphy deliriously chasing down a hybrid ice cream truck. This has a distinctive smell of melting pralines and cream with a hint of something green. Rejoicewhen the truck stops because you and your mom can afford it. This is perfect with Friday night hamburgers and you know what for desert.
Brigaldara Valpolicella 2010, Doc
Veneto, Italy$14.95
A perfect patio summer wine. Like Steven Tyler eating a fruit salad. It's really lean, has a big mouth and is full of fresh fruit. You'll be Cryin' unless you pick this up and serve it Friday afterwork with a plate of appys. Live it up while this is going down.
