I learned to love the tasty juice through my education at George Brown College. I believe there is a perfect bottle for every occasion. I like my Italians Red, my Frenchies White, my Americanos black, and my Brazilians blonde. I believe wine goes with food, with friends, with music, and with days of the week that end in Y.
Cheers to getting your wine on.

Seresin Sauvignon Blanc 2010, Marlborough, South Island
Marlborough, New Zealand$21.95
A perfect patio summer wine. Like Steven Tyler eating a fruit salad. It's really lean, has a big mouth and is full of fresh fruit. You'll be Cryin' unless you pick this up and serve it Friday afterwork with a plate of appys. Live it up while this is going down.
Prà Soave Classico 2011
Veneto, Italy$14.75
This Soave Classico is a perfect example of how good white Veneto wine can be. Veneto is the same region that is home to Amarone which is up near Venice. Like listening to Spirit of the West while drinking a bottle of Sprite. This wine has a beautiful sweet lemon and lime taste with a gentle bitter finish and it’ll make you move and tap your feet. If Venice is sinking, I’m going under with a bottle of this and some seafood pasta.
La Ferme Du Mont La Truffière 2009, Ac Côtes Du Rhône
Rhône, France$15.95
This is a white that is a blend of a few grapes to give it more depth and complexity. Its like reading a girly magazine while eating a lemon. Its racy with a Flinty character and has a lip smacking – drool inducing mouth feel. This wine needs food so drop the mag, catch some lake trout and grill it skin side down. (no magazines with topics other than wine were read to research this review).
Wallace By Ben Glaetzer Shiraz/Grenache 2008, Barossa Valley, South Australia
Australia$25.95
Sweet and spicy. Perfect with bourbon BBQ sauces ribs.
Château Val Joanis Tradition Syrah Rosé 2011, Ac Luberon
Rhône, France$15.95
This is perfect to sip on a hot day with some good friends. Like Nicole Kidman eating a fruit salad while reading about Tom Cruise’s recent troubles. It’s powder pale, kinda pretty, smells like apple and cantaloupe and will put a large smile on your face. One bottle will certainly not be enough.
Christian Moueix Pomerol 2009, Ac Pomerol
Bordeaux, France$22.75
This is Pomtastic! Pomerol is a right-bank Bordeaux which is predominately merlot based. Unlike the left-bank which is predominately Cabernet Sauvignon based. This Pomerol is the hot girls best friend at the dance. It's softer, juicier and very approachable. Be a good wing man. Choose this with some grilled lamb and leave the left bank for your buddy.
Lan Crianza 2008, Doca Rioja
Rioja, Spain$15.95
It's back, another good buy perenial favorite. Time to try LAN if you haven't. It's like listening to top 40 at the cottage all weekend long. Its lively, fruity, and so consistent you'll be humming Kelly Clarkson tunes if you're not careful . If you're in a payphone with Maroon 5, call home and say you're picking up 6 of these for Tuesday night tipples.
Tamaya Reserva Malbec/Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah 2009, Limari Valley
Limari Valley, Chile$15.25
Big nose red with a smooth finish. A little too much of a bomb for my taste, but great value.
Quintay Q Sauvignon Blanc 2011, Casablanca Valley
Casablanca Valley, Chile$14.95
A great Sauv Blanc in a really cool bottle from Chile. Its a tongue twisting, lip smacking, grape fruity, mouth watering beverage. Its feels like you've lubed up your lips with Burts Bee's and said "eleven benevolent elephants" 5 times. Pour this nice and cold and serve Sally seafood that she's sold.
De Bortoli Db Reserve Pinot Noir 2008, South Eastern Australia
Australia$15.95
Do you Speak-a my language?
This wine comes from a land down under, where women glow and men drink Pinot.
It’s a nice, inexpensive sipping Pinot Noir. Grab your best mate and plunder this down while BBQing. Finish it before the food is ready, or smile and pour it with a Vegemite Sandwich.
