I learned to love the tasty juice through my education at George Brown College. I believe there is a perfect bottle for every occasion. I like my Italians Red, my Frenchies White, my Americanos black, and my Brazilians blonde. I believe wine goes with food, with friends, with music, and with days of the week that end in Y.
Cheers to getting your wine on.

Baglio Di Pianetto Y Nero D'avola 2008, Igt Sicilia
Sicily, Italy$14.95
Perfect pizza and lagsana wine
The Sopranos Chianti 2007, Docg
Tuscany, Italy$14.95
can hear the theme music now. Take an envelope full of cash to the LCBO and scoop some up. Mouth breathe your way through a pile of lasagna and use this to wash it down. Tony says if you don't buy it you will be sleeping with a horse's head. It's good.
Le Ragose Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2006, Doc
Veneto, Italy$21.95
This tasty number is created by passing the juice over dried Amarone grapes. Spicy like Victoria Beckham. I tell you what it pairs with... what it really really pairs with... it pairs with: pasta carbonara.
Ant Moore Pinot Noir 2009, Central Otago, South Island
New Zealand$20.85
If you buy wine by the pretty label, look no further. The best Pinot’s made by the Kiwi’s are made in Central Otago . However most are priced beyond our budget. This one is like Kramer in Karate class. It’s not fair …….. how inexpensive this is. Blast the door open to your buddies apartment and cook up the Ontario lamb from his fridge.
Domdechant Werner Hochheimer Riesling Kabinett 2008, Rheingau
Rheingau, Germany$18.95
Like William’s smile, the title of this wine is a mouthful. But thankfully like Kate walking down the aisle: this wine is light bodied, classy, sweet, and flashes a bit of laciness. Riesling is a perfect match for a patio lunch on Mothers Day. Skip the party sandwiches and serve this with red snapper with creamy dill sauce.
Dr. Hermann Riesling Kabinett 2008, ürziger Würzgarten
Mosel, Germany$16.95
This Riesling is made from grapes harvested from vineyards that are on 60 degree slopes! The picture of the vineyard height makes me nauseous. The wine doesn’t. It’s like eating a Sweet Tart while licking a 9-volt battery. This wine is sweet and spritzy, has a really cool mouthfeel, and over-stimulates your saliva production making you want to try it again and again. Good match with spicy thai food and a Gravol (if your scared of heights).
