Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.

Red fruits, cedar oak and pepper aromas. Medium-full bodied with big, chalky tannins. Flavour palate consists of red fruits, currant, and vanilla. Good acidity and medium-length finish. Cellar at least 1-2 years. Tasted Sept/2013.

Medium-intensity aromas featuring beetroot, lead, cherry and some meaty notes. It's medium-full bodied on the palate with dark fruits, cherry, beetroot, and tilled earth flavours. Hints of strawberry. Good acids, dry tannins, and long, warm finish. Tasted Sept/2014.
Kourtaki Mavrodaphné De Patras

Blend of Mavrodaphne and Black Korinthiaki. Prune and raisin aromas from the cork. Medium intensity aroams of raisins, dried figs, caramel and dates with medium sweet aroma replays on the palate. Smooth, slightly creamy texture, light-to-mid weight body with good acids. Medium length finish that has notes of semi-sweet milk chocolate from a hot fudge sundae. Serve well-chilled. Tasted Apr/2015.
Château Hauchat 2011, Ac Fronsac

100% Merlot. Plummy and black cherry aromas from the cork. Medium intensity aromas from the glass showing plum, blackberry, sour cherry, black spices, soft cedar vanilla oak, mineral and hints of cocoa notes. It's medium-bodied on the palate with tart red berry and mineral/iodine flavours. Has good acids, fairly rounded but gritty tannins. Good length on the cocoa-tinged finish. Tasted Nov/2015.

Made using 100% Cortese. Fresh, medium+ intensity aromas of Meyer lemons, floral and tropical fruits. Medium+ bodied lemon/lime and herbal flavours. Chalky texture on mid-palate. Has balanced acids and finishes long. Tasted Nov/2014.
San Raffaele Monte Tabor Soave 2013, Doc
Veneto, Italy$13.95
Organic wine that is 100% Garganega. Elegant lime, peach and orange aromas from the cork. In the glass, aromas are low-to-medium intensity with ripe notes of citrus, peach and almond with much of same on the medium-bodied palate. Vibrant acids give way to mineral notes and a kiss of citrus sweetness. Decent length. Tasted Feb/2015.
Rethink Dry Riesling 2012, Mosel

Impressive medium-to-high aromatics featuring petrol, mineral aromas along with hints of tropical fruit and pineapple. The palate is medium-bodied with bright acids with flinty, orange citrus and tart lime flavours. Off-dry (slightly sweet) in style. The finish is medium-long and a touch hot. Tasted July/2015.

Lovely, elegant nose of rose petals, lychee and honey that also show up on the sweet palate. Balanced acids and very good length on the finish. Tasted Nov/2015.

Screw cap. Highly fragrant nose of gooseberry, kiwi, asparagus and lime citrus in typical New Zealand style. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with piercing, juicy acidity to go along with ripe pear, asparagus, melon and citrus flavours. Good length on the tart finish. Serve well-chilled and drink over the next 2 years. Tasted Feb/2016.

Medium intensity aromas featuring petrol, apple, spice and orange notes. It's off-dry with orange and lemon/lime flavours, very good acidity and finishes with a mineral note of medium length. Tasted Sept/2015.
