Wine lover since 2001! My interest in wine began while touring the factory where they printed the LCBO VINTAGES magazine.
Over time, my passion for wine grew. Now, I am highly regarded by friends and colleagues as a resource for when they need a wine for that special occasion, be it an anniversary, birthday, wedding, gatherings at home, or when they want to impress their special friend or the In-Laws.
Combining my interest in the Internet/web/computers, you can find me at https://vintagewinepicks.blogspot.com where you will find more wine reviews, events and contests.

The Black Chook Shiraz/Viognier 2017, South Australia
South Australia, Australia$18.95
Co-fermented blend of Shiraz (96%) and Viognier (4%). Fresh, plummy, black cherry aromas mingle with peppery spice and oak notes, and just a hint of floral. It is medium-full bodied on the palate with dark currant and dark berry flavours, along with hints of pepper and oak spice in a dry flavour profile. It has soft, refined tannins and juicy acids. Wood and pepper spice notes linger on the finish. Tasted July/2019.

This has a soft nose of lemon citrus, herbs, and white floral notes that also appear on the medium+ bodied palate. It's fleshy with balanced acidity. Herbal notes linger on the finish, with very good length. Grenache Blanc, Viognier and Vermentino. Tasted Aug/2019.
