Dec 21....sorta remember having this a couple years ago (maybe 2020). Really cant remember much. Hope I didn't leave it too long. My guess it was fine.

September 2, 2022......in celebration of Andrew's 34th birthday. Shared with Crystal, had with t-bone steaks. Absolutely delicious! Required aeration and was responding well after 30 minutes. A refined, classy glass of wine. Delicate for Cab Sauv. Had held it for 11 years, without harm. A slight garnet tone. Worth the wait!

March 2024.....pretty sure this is the only one I have, probably gave one away. Was worried it might be bad but on the contrary quite nice. Certainly aged and smooth, but rich with dense fruit flavours, quite lovely. Had with leftover moussaka. (92)

Sorelli Vinsanto Del Chianti Classico 2003, Doc, Tuscany, Italy

learned to love Vinsanto in Italy....keep an eye open for it.

Grant Burge Corryton Park Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Barossa

2018-22

Feb/18....1st of 2....rich & flavourful but a touch hot on the finish. Appears fully evolved, decent amount of sediment. Had with a homemade hamburger, nice but this wine needs a steak. Try last one 2019/20.

June 2020.....appears to have completely mellowed out, quite enjoyed, didn't sense the 'burn' from 2 years previous.

1st one ....nice

August 2021.....must have had the second one many years ago. Both Chris and I quite enjoyed this wine. Clear glass bottle and interesting label as well.

Best's Great Western Bin No. 1 Shiraz 2009, Grampians, Victoria

2015 + 2016/17

May 2020....all gone now (must have bought minimum 3, maybe more), think I finished off the last bottle maybe fall of 2019. This was a really spectacular shiraz, throughout its entire evolution, but I think I found it most spectacular in its youth.....full of flavour and vibrant. (91+)

Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Syrah 2010, Hawkes Bay

???....don't remember having, but reviews suggest it may have been even better than 2013 (which I loved)....I must have enjoyed it having purchased another vintage....good decision....a definite consideration if future releases!

Polkura Syrah 2009, Marchigue, Colchagua Valley
