2017?....1st one gifted but can't remember who
June 2019....quality wine, had with Shepards Pie though it could have used something with a richer taste....needs to breathe, one hour good. For me, possessed that typical French taste that I haven't always been a fan of but was compensated by its smoothness and richness.

June 2021....had with chilli. This wine was flavourful but oak and alcohol ruined it for me. That green taste too. Just like the Australian shiraz's of old, don't enjoy the bluntness and harshness of this style of wine. Carmenere can still be very good but not at this level. (88)

Aug 2020....pretty sure all have disappeared (3). May have given one away and drank the other two. Was decent but didn't live up to my expectations. Wasn't terribly flavourful, at least this is what I remember. Was a little disappointed, maybe just not for me.

October 2018....with steak, loved it, juicy, fruity, smooth, still fresh....don't wait any longer than spring 2019 to enjoy, share with a friend if possible.
May 30, 2020....had with steak celebrating Crystal's birthday. Still really enjoyed it, and not showing any signs of overage...perhaps it would have kept longer but cant imagine it being better than the 1st one had. A repeat buy if a good vintage.

April 2020....definitely mature, very garnet in colour, but was quite lovely with lasagna. Medium bodied, smooth and flavouful, though lacking some zip due to age I suspect.....still, a very elegant wine and much enjoyed, drank half the bottle with little trouble. :-)
