Maipo Valley, Chile$34.95
drink late 2018 or 2019 summer bbq
June 2021....pretty certain I had this within the past 6 months but not 100% sure. If I am having a proper recollection, might not have been super impressed with it for the money.
Poderi Angelini Primitivo Di Manduria 2010
Puglia, Italy$18.95
2017-22/23
Feb/20.....I had bought several of these, maybe 6?
Gave a few as gifts and had at least 2 myself. Recall drinking it Christmas time at Gavin & Lloy's house....ornament exchange perhaps. Recall that it was still a little harsh in the early years but with more aeration and more bottle maturation, it became a lovely pour. Last one have 2021-3.
Spring 2022....bottle was bad, drank some but eventually threw out the rest, shame.
Cave De Roquebrun Granges Des Combes 2013
Languedoc, France$18.95
2020+2021
Pretty sure bought at least 3....2 left in inventory so either drank one but also could have gifted it because I know I grabbed one in the last year or so but don't remember the vintage.
April 2020....had with a non-traditional chili I concocted, went great. Super lovely wine, especially for the price. Drink last one soon than later....and share it with Crystal.
Descendientes De J. Palacios Pétalos 2013, Do Bierzo
Galicia, Spain$24.95
now (2021) + early 2022
January 2021....really nice wine. Don't remember the meal, maybe Algerian lamb shank. This wine never fails to impress and this vintage, perhaps one of the better ones, was no exception, smooth and delicious. Best have second bottle this summer or Fall.
Jerzu Chuèrra Riserva Cannonau Di Sardegna 2011, Doc
Sardinia, Italy$17.95

......don't recall much here. Being Grenache, I should have enjoyed it but it didn't leave me with much of an impression, obviously.

Xmas 2020.....gift to Raynors
May 2021......had with pizza tonight, actually quite enjoyed it. A nicely flavoured malbec, plenty of fruit, and no signs of failing.
Viticcio Chianti Classico 2012, Docg
Tuscany, Italy$19.25
late 2017- 2019
April 2019....Smooth, medium bodied, good but not spectacular, lacked flavour...a good sipper wine....still has 6-12 months left.
May 2019....same as above, enjoyed with Osso Bucco.
Mar 2020.....enjoyed with pasta and homemade pasta sauce.....still good, worked nice with the meal....a lot of sediment but not a detriment.
Seghesio Zinfandel Sonoma 2014

2018-2024* ....last one in 2022 or sooner
(one as a gift to Shelley C...maybe a 2018 vintage)
August 2020....had with asian marinated pork chops, maybe not the best match but wine was good. Rich & smooth but didn't think it was as good as Frei Brothers version (2012) which I loved a lot! Still, a good wine to have with the right meal.
Dec 2020...delicious, loved it so much drank half bottle without batting an eye. Had with Maunder's butter chicken, went very well I thought. Lovely smooth velvet feel, dark fruit, rich, so enjoyable. Might have to keep last one (not gift)...drink 2022?
Tessellae Carignan Vieilles Vignes 2014, Côtes Catalanes
Languedoc, France$18.95
January, 2020....generally love this grape, this wine no exception. Had with cabbage rolls, worked well enough. Good wine, great value.
