A full, dense, savoury and spicy Washington cabernet with firm, hard tannins and plenty of extract - not a wine for...
This is a great buy from the Pacific Northwest. It has depth, sinew and ripe cherry/berry fruit, with herbs, firm...
Pretty red, bright and juicy fruits. Has herbiage, currants, layers, some sweetness, balancing acidity and tannin....

This is the perfect mix of big fruit that you expect from Washington and the savoury notes that keep it interesting. It's big and ripe with a bit of baking spice, but there's a big earthy, funky (in a really good way) quality to this wine. Big acid and tannin for this price, it tastes like it should be a lot more expensive, plus the finish is quite long. This is one serious, tasty bottle of wine. Don't pass it up. Tasted October 2014.
a big bold cab from walla walla Washington, earthy, firm tannins for sure, reminds me a bit of the piedmont gang but not as dusty or as sour cherish, a bit fruity but not fruit bomb, great buy for $22, will be interesting to see how it ages over the next few years, szabo seems to feel that it will do well!
A quality cab with some kick to it
Description: Medium+ ruby in colour with a medium intense nose. This wine features cedar, dark and sour cherries, plums, red currents, thyme, cassis, turmeric, graphite, Allspice, cinnamon, cloves, peppers and leather. Full body with medium+ tannins, good acidity, a long length and the alcohol is well integrated.
Negatives: None
Interesting Note: Same wine sells for $45 at the winery
Drink now or in the next 10 years on its own or pair it with Pan-Roasted Veal Chops with Cabernet Sauce.

I found the heavy sheen of oak a bit overpowering. Underneath the wood, clearly a decent cab. Good but not for me. Tasted March 2016.
