Santa Rita Reserva Carmenere 2010
Rapel Valley, Chile$13.95
Impressive structure for the price! If you like the funky herbal flavours and spice that Carmenere brings to the table, you will love this.
Thirty Bench Red 2010, VQA Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$24.00
Just hits the mark for the price point. It’s structured and tannic, but considerably smooth on the palate for such a young Bordeaux blend. Classic Cab flavous of cherry, blackberry, vanilla & smoky/musky cedar notes. A really easy, soft finish that caresses and seduces you with every sip.
Mas Des Bressades Les Vignes De Mon Père Cabernet/Syrah 2009, Vin De Pays Du Gard
Languedoc, France$19.95
Big & juicy, structured and complex. Amazing value!
Fielding Cabernet/Syrah 2010, VQA Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$20.25
You have to smell this wine…it’s incredible. It packs a loaded bouquet of smoky vanilla oak, BBQ meats, bacon and ripe blueberries. If that doesn’t sound good enough, the palate is medium to full bodied offering a cool climate finesse to these otherwise warm grown varietals. This wine is structured with tight tannins. After decanting, green bell pepper flavours emerged to complement its long flavourful finish.
Malivoire Ladybug Rosé 2012, VQA Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$15.95
Let this one swirl in your glass for a while... after it opens up Pinot fans will be impressed. It's like a delicious camel candied apple. Other than Southbrook Vineyards, this has to be one of the most reliable Roses.
Stoney Ridge Estate Winery Excellence Chardonnay 2010, Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$24.95
The 2010 Excellence Chardonnay possesses big fruit with ample acidity to complete the balancing act. It’s full bodied, long, smooth and buttery with Christmas cake spice notes. Finishes very suave. Another delicious Chardonnay by prodigy winemaker Gordon Robert. Watch the story behind this wine as Gord explains the vintage and barrel selection.

Vall Sanzo Crianza 2008, Do Ribera Del Duero
Ribera Del Duero, Spain$19.95
Don't smell this wine or taste it at all before you decant for and hour...believe me, after an hour it develops into an almost "classic" burgundy. It has got funk supreme to the nose and great length to the palate. I picked up ripe strawberries, vanilla oak & smoke...sour dryness to the finish. Honestly, after decanting this is a seriously enjoyable wine.
Amalaya Valle Calchaqui 2010
Salta, Argentina$18.99
We'll made. Offers lush fruit - prunes and raisins, dates and black current.
Road 13 Chardonnay 2010, BC VQA Okanagan Valley
British Columbia, Canada$24.00
super buttery without being oaky, really nice buttery mineral - Smooth smooth finish...although it maybe considered a tad commercial in taste, I loved it.
Seven Sinners The Ransom Old Vine Petite Sirah 2010, Lodi
California, Usa$24.95
Nice big ripe fruit and thick juicy tannins. Blackberry/ Prune flavours & spice dominate. The finish is structured. Reminded me of Amarone.
