Lovely stuff. Very complex with dried fruit (fig, date, prune), orange zest, spice, pepper, caramel, vanilla and nutty rancio. Sweet and savoury at the same time. Alcohol is lovingly warming - it envelops rather than burns. The length is outstanding. Taylor Fladgate's 20 year old is the sweet spot for tawny from a price/quality ratio standpoint.

The Taylor Fladgate 20 Year Old Tawny Port has intense aromas of prune, butter scotch and pecans. It is a full bodied, sweet, aged port; with good acidity, subtle tannins (no need for decanting) and a long, slightly warm finish. Drink as a desert; drink now – 2020. My impression: BEAUTIFUL to DIVINE, 93 pts – recommended for its quality. Tasted in September 2013 at iYellow's Taylor Fladgate Port Party http://grapeselections.com/port-and-werewolves/

This is very good but it's not Graham's 20 and that's all that goes through my mind each time I sip this tawny. The difference is the weight and smoothness: a slight tang (which fades with open-air) takes away from what could be perfection. Definitely try it, but do so alongside the Graham's and you'll understand what I mean. (northof9finewine, Feb 2011)

Beautfully smooth, with ample flavours of dried fruit, carmel, and nuts. Long, not excessively sweet, and wonderful to sip on a cool fall evening. A benchmark tawny. Sad to say that this can be had for almost $20 cheaper in the US. Drink now or whenever. Tasted Nov 2012.

Lighter in colour than I would have expected, the port had a well balanced nose with nutty, spicy and dried fruit aromas. The flavour was smooth with a roasted caramel finish.

Tasted blind at a Beefsteak & Burgundy club event, Feb. 2015.
