Better balanced and 'real' than most other napa's, even at this price point (120 at the SAQ!) ... high quality ageworthy wine, will be very interesting when the secondary aromas begin to show

Chateau De Sancere Cuvee Du Connetable 2012, Sancerre

Like no other sancerre that I have tasted thus far, this is heavily concentrated and complex, with notes of tropical fruit, dried lemon peel and herbal character. The mouth is full and viscous with a vibrant acidity ripping through. I find this to be more reminiscent of a high qualtiy northern Italian (perhaps spanish) sauvignon blanc blended with a white bordeaux with a few years of age on it. Really interesting juice
