Castelgiocondo Brunello Di Montalcino 2011, Brunello Di Montalcino

Good wine. The aromas and flavors are complex, with spice / herbs, concentrated fruit, aim is tight and not All That right now approachable. Perhaps needs a FEW more years to open up. Oak is not overly dominant purpose for the majorité Who will consume less than this Within a year I would not recommend it.

Terre Rouge Mourvèdre 2011

The fruit is ripe, great complexity and not overdone. Shows some nice old world character while remaining American in the very best sense.

Granted the bottle was not open for more than a few minutes, but i found this to be resting too firmly on the fruit profile (a good concentration that most would love). I for one enjoy a good dose of well-integrated greenness in my CF. That being said, this has great structure and balance, a quality wine.
