I have to admit this wine has more complexity than expected. Notes of sour cherry, stewed strawberry, blackberry, leather, forest floor, and white pepper. There is also a phenolic rawness present that gives the wine an edge. Medium minus body with matching, very fine tannins. Acidity is medium plus and length is moderate.

Very complex on the nose including stewed plum, strawberry, cassis, tomato, black olive, and green pepper. It's also complimented by notes of cedar, leather, dark chocolate, and black pepper.

On the palate it is balanced. Tannins are refined with rounded edges. The length is medium to high.
