Cantina Di Negrar Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2009
Veneto, Italy$33.45
Enjoyed this Amarone, but not as much as Amarone from Tedeschi. It took 3 hours of decanting before I could really enjoy it. Also, alcohol is a bit too hot to fully enjoy. Felt more like drinking a Port than a red wine. Tasted December 2014.
Momo Pinot Noir 2011
Marlborough, New Zealand$19.95
Light-bodied wine that was too bitter and sour-edged as stated in critic reviews to truly enjoy. Will not probably not get much better as it ages. Tasted June 2015.
Jacob's Creek Moscato 2012, South East Australia
Australia$11.95
Pleasantly fresh and sweet semi-sparkling wine that will be perfect for the summer. Only 7.2% alcohol. Very well priced. Tasted March 2014.
Francis Coppola Diamond Collection Blue Label Merlot 2011 (375ml)
California, Usa$12.95
Easy to drink Merlot that is perfect for sipping in the summer, even without any food. But a little bit on the pricey side for the quality. Tasted July 2014.
Mountadam Vineyards Cabernet/Merlot 2009, Barossa
South Australia, Australia$17.95
Easy to drink Cab/Merlot from a region famous for its Shiraz wines. Tasted October 2014.
J. Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Paso Robles
California, Usa$22.95
Full-body, really easy to drink. Good length. Tasted April 2015.
Inniskillin Cabernet Franc 2011, Niagara Peninsula
Ontario, Canada$14.95
Surprisingly good for $15. Nice length but limited complexity. Similar experience as wines from the Rhone valley. Tasted October 2017.
Nugan Alfredo Second Pass Shiraz 2013
Australia$9.95
Pretty harsh and lots of alcohol. Tasted January 2017.
Wakefield Merlot 2015, Clare Valley, South Australia
South Australia, Australia$19.95
Very simple wine with not much depth. Easy to drink with BBQ food. Tasted May 2017.
