-stewed fruit reduction
-smells a bit like a port
-very dry
tannin! (too much for my taste- woudl require breathing
-balanced, complex, i do really like the dry finish,
-cigar

would pair well with charred stea, roast with a strawberry reduction/balsamic glaze, sauce.

-grows on the palate as it breathes.

-would rather find a more delicate wine from france than this. but not bad.

La Crema Pinot Noir 2010, Sonoma Coast

with violent swirl tastes like burnt marshmallow- the caramelized part of it.
-woody smell, tart red fruit and oak on the nose
-very light-distinctly a pinot noir
-well balanced, bit of barnyard

-balanced but not really my style. food, not great value

Castillo De Monseran Garnacha 2010, Carinena

Amazing value- deep red/ to purple colour
-the smell is not fabulous- infact i even dislike the aroma.
But on taste you can really get the chocolate and the cassis, licorice
-this is a warm-by the fire wine- can definitely be standalone but i would like to enjoy this with charred meats or even a heavy chocolate dessert
-the taste is unexpected- very aromatic in a bad way but the taste is great
-similr tot he taste- not a great starting taste but a great finish
-medium to full, medium tannins
-very dry round finish- great finish,
-I would DEFINITELY repurchase as both a weekday and weekend wi

LCBO old world wine appreciation- italy
-This wine made me angry- didn't like it at all
-Other ppl in the room seemed to really enjoy it- i think it might be a very complex wine. would definitely benefit from age and decanting for a long time
-light red colour, aroma of fig, wood, wet earth, woodchips.
-this is definitely a meal wine- gamey red meat
-too complex and heavy for me
I would never buy this.
Wouldn't want to finish a glass placed in front of me.
