Rich ruby colour; intense aromas of dry berry fruit, earth and spice notes; dry and medium-bodied with well-balanced with round, dried fruit, raspberry and plum flavours, with spicy notes in the finish. Serving Suggestion Strong cheeses, pizza, burgers, or meat in a rich sauce.Critic Reviews (2)
The 2009 is again an elegant sophisticated red wine at a great price. It is made from corvina and sangiovese grapes...
This is a classy, quite supple and complex red with a well integrated nose of kirsch/cherry fruit, leather, woodsy...

Blackberry, plums, coffee, spices, with some earthiness on the nose. Well-balanced on the palate, with soft tannins, crisp acidity, and dried fruit flavours. Will probably not age further, best drunk now. 88
Nice $15 bottle, medium body, polished, berries/cherries/earthy, nice finish. Nice with prime rib.
Not bad and reasonably priced.
The 2009 Masi Serego Alighieri Possessioni Rosso, a blend of Corvina and Sangiovese varieties aged in oak, is medium bodied, FRUITY to integrated, with intense aromas of black berries, prune, dark chocolate and some greanage coming from the Corvina grape. Tannins are subtle (decant for 30 min) and the finish is medium to long. This wine will benefit from aging 2013-2018, but if what is desired is fruit, then drink now. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 89 pts – a nice example of Corvina grape for a good price, hence a recommended buy. Tasted Nov/11.

Medium-bodied wine with a nice finish. Great value for the price. Perfect pairing with Italian hard aged cheese like Grana Pradano. Tasted April 2012.
Note: found that it really needs decanting for at least 30 minutes but ideally 1 hour, as it exhibited much greenness upon opening.
Crimson ruby colour. Very fragrant with a fruity nose. Light to medium body with good acidity and tartness. Soft tannins and a lingering finish. My palate plucked a bushell of fruit like sour cherry, raspberry, blackberry, maybe a single blueberry lurking like it wasn't invited to the party but showed up anyway. The acidity stood up up really well to a plate of rotini in a tomato basil sauce. Chill slightly. Grip it n' sip it! April 2013.
Too fruity.
