Another pleasant surprise from the Wine Exchange selection. I usually don't go for Barbera, since I prefer a Barolo when looking for this kind of body and depth, a fact that partially explains why this one really surpassed my expectations!

Strawberry jam deliciousness! We were having a summer dinner of charcuterie, cheeses and light salad, and I randomly brought up this wine (having enjoyed a few nero d'avola I have tasted)... and what a fortunate choice it was, specially when paired with cured hams/meats.
