Lovely Gran Reserva. Stand bottle upright hours prior to opening. Decant (there is some sediment).Let rest at least an hour. Enjoy. There sure is a lot of yummy goodness in this wine.

Herdade Do Rocim Alicante Bouschet 2016, Alentejano

Excellent medium to full body exponent of an Alentejo local varietal... all this from a land famous for its corks! It paired beautifully with a pepper, rosemary and thyme crusted chuck roast.

Ivaldi Dario Nizza 2015, Monferrato

Another pleasant surprise from the Wine Exchange selection. I usually don't go for Barbera, since I prefer a Barolo when looking for this kind of body and depth, a fact that partially explains why this one really surpassed my expectations!
