Lovely Gran Reserva. Stand bottle upright hours prior to opening. Decant (there is some sediment).Let rest at least an hour. Enjoy. There sure is a lot of yummy goodness in this wine.

Powerful deliciousness, bold character, full body, maybe a tad too much alcohol, but boy is it ever good, this is Bordeaux style done justice.

Another pleasant surprise from the Wine Exchange selection. I usually don't go for Barbera, since I prefer a Barolo when looking for this kind of body and depth, a fact that partially explains why this one really surpassed my expectations!
