Subtle tropical fruit notes. Creamy texture from oak-barrelled flavours of vanilla, and nuts combine to give it a buttery, caramel-like finish. Enjoyable.

Typical CDR smooth berry flavours, spice and a little bit of cedar and earth. Finish is dry and unbalanced.

Pierre Andre Bourgogne Pinot Noir Reserve Vielles Vignes 2009, Burgundy

Typical burgundy here with notes of sour cherries, rhubarb, raspberries. spice, cedar, a little smoke and earth. The acidity is well balanced allowing the fruit to show nicely. Light towards medium bodied with low tannins and some minerality. While not overly complex, it's a nice sipper for the spring and summer months.
