Château Des Moines 2009, Lalande De Pomerol
Bordeaux, France$21.95
At it's prime now, the age upped it's complexity nicely. Very smooth, with the cedar aspect coming a bit to the fore. Old world in a very good way.
Bastide Sobirana Lieu Dit La Colomine 2015, Ap Côtes Du Roussillon

Rompesedas 2006, Do Toro
Castilla y León, Spain$19.95
Big and bold, complex, long and bridges new (juicy) and old (cedar). Sounds great but the alcohol is too prominent, hot and unbalanced
Viñademoya Centenaria Mencía 2016, Do Bierzo
Galicia, Spain$15.75
Steal at the price, John nailed it (as always). One release only? A shame. Bye bye birdy.

G.marquis Chardonnay The Silver Line Niagara Stone Road 2019, Niagara On The Lake
Ontario, Canada$19.95
A bit of a throwback to the well oaked and ripe fruit style of the past but a pleasure due to its fine balanced. A hint of sweetness from the fruit and oaky butter but balanced by a touch of cold climate crispness (less than the norm). No need to age further, ready to go.
