Dr. Hermann ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Spätlese 2007, Prädikatswein
Mosel, Germany$18.95
Still holding on. Essence is light and quaffable now, some extra petrol complexity from ageing but not the expected honey notes. Long and very enjoyable
Emiliana Vigno Vignadores De Carignan 2017, Do Maule Valley
Maule Valley, Chile$14.75

Emiliana Novas Petit Verdot 2011, Colchagua Valley
Chile$15.95
Really nice and the price belies the quality.
At peak in summer '16: length, complexity, refinement and still nice weight with no funky aged flavours and no longer a burly brute. If you like petit verdot, a winner and worth the wait. Wish I had half a dozen more
Sileni The Plateau Pinot Noir 2012
Hawke's Bay, New Zealand$19.95
Perhaps past its prime at this late date 9at peak 2015?), flavours per Zoltan's review however with the juiciness leaned out.
Château Canteloup 2010, Ac Médoc
Bordeaux, France$16.95
Nose of an expensive and complex wine. First glass tasted well over the hill and pruney. Needs to breathe and then it opens up and volatile funkiness disappears leaving a woody old world wine with good length and complexity. Needs food but good deal. Drink now but let breathe.
Boutari Grande Reserve Xinomavro 2008, Pdo Naoussa
Naoussa, Greece$18.95
Cedar colour and sandlewood at the fore, with beautiful length and complexity in Feb '21. At peak as it doesnt have the stuffing to keep improving. Old world complexity, not new modern lushness. A unique wine and nice, welcome throwback
Tenuta Rocca Ornati Langhe 2006, Doc
Piedmont, Italy$21.95
Ready now. Still a bit of bite, but fruit is ageing and is just still holding its charm
