De Bortoli Db Reserve Pinot Noir 2008, South Eastern Australia
Australia$15.95
Tasted July 2011. A solid pinot for the price.
Joseph Cattin Muscat 2009, Ac Alsace
Alsace, France$15.95
Tasted April 2012. A medium bodied white with light acid and delicate floral and mineral notes wrapped in a quiet sweetness. A fairly straight forward white that is very pleasant from nose to finish.
Perrin Réserve 2009, Ac Côtes Du Rhône
Rhône, France$15.95
Tasted Jan 2012. A nice soft cherry forward wine with some spice to it. Enjoyed it even more the second day as it took on a bit of earthy subtleness to it. Excellent GSM blend for the price.
Chemin De Terre 2006, Oregon
Oregon, Usa$14.95
Tasted Nov. 2012. Very light and clean taste of fresh cherries and blackberries with almost a hint of mint and spice. Like an artisan mixed berry jam without the sweetness. A surprisingly nice blend at a very reasonable price.
Campo Viejo Reserva 2006, Rioja
Spain$17.95
Just a solid go to Rioja that many friends and family have enjoyed over the years.
Chateau St. Jean Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, California
California, Usa$19.95
Tasted Feb 2012. Very dark and intense needing a bit of decanting to take the edge off and allow the spicy plum and currant flavours to emerge more. Nice tannic grip to the finish.
The Winery Of Good Hope Chenin Blanc 2008, Wo Stellenbosch
South Africa$11.95
Tasted June 2012. Zesty lime and a pleasant underbelly. Nice summer sipper.
Grooner Grüner Veltliner 2010, Niederosterrich
Austria$13.55
Tasted Aug 2012. A nice change of pace for our usual white. Fresh and zesty, but with nice hint of white pepper or something. Great white for a party with cheese and other finger foods.
