Big and beastly,

2nd bottle: decanting for 2 hrs really opened this up, more aroma and flavours

Couple years on and lost most of the fruit and settled into the mature Bordeaux flavours

Beautiful wine, aroma was powerful and some hard edges at first but an hour in the decanter softened it up. 12 years on and lots of life left.

Pleasantly surprised, spent 30 mins in the air and despite the colour change there was noticeable fruit and enough tannin to remain grippy
