Orestiadi Ludovico 2008, Igt Rosso Sicilia
Sicily, Italy$19.95

....my recollection is I quite enjoyed it. A pleasant departure from other Italian wines. Dont recall if I drank both, I suspect one was gifted.
Frei Brothers Reserve Zinfandel 2012, Dry Creek Valley
California, Usa$26.95

1st one consumed sometime in 2017.....really really nice, wished I had bought more.
August 2020....think I had second bottle recently (this year). Was still good and still loved it. Would definitely buy again if a decent vintage.

Jan 2021.....really really nice; vibrant, complex, juicy. Not an ounce of bitterness or bite, just smooth and a touch tart.A light to mid-weight wine that went very well with salmon melts. Glad I bought 3. Wish I had bought more than one from 2017. (91+)
Jan 2022....having with cabbage rolls, such an elegant wine....could drink this anytime, anywhere! Wish I could have tried 2016. Keep an eye on future vintages (2018+)
Heartland Shiraz 2012, Langhorne Creek
South Australia, Australia$18.95
didn't enjoy so much, typical Aussie high heat and abrupt, needs grilled steak or lamb.....give 2cd bottle another 2+ years to round out, maybe more enjoyable then (Jan 2016)
Remember having second bottle and enjoying it more, probably did have it in 2018 so further time agreed with it. Still, not inclined to repurchase. (90-)
Carrick Pinot Noir 2011
Central Otago, New Zealand$31.75
March 2019....Sunday night dinner with Andrew & Crystal.....baked salmon....salmon was just ok but wine was fantastic.....year after year, this one never disappoints....don't think I will ever tire of drinking this wine.
Penfolds Bin 128 Shiraz 2012, Coonawarra
South Australia, Australia$34.95

May 2022.....nice, enjoyed, depth, pretty much could go with anything. However might have expected more for the money and reputation.
Soléna Grand Cuvée Pinot Noir 2014, Willamette Valley
Oregon, Usa$33.95
2018/19
Dec 21....pretty sure I had this sometime in the past 2 years. Pretty sure I really liked it. Empty bottle may have been a 'Keeper', originally on piano, but I may have changed my mind.
Domaine Les Bugadelles 2014, Igp Pays D'oc
Languedoc, France$29.95
(2) grenache/syrah....bbq red meat
2021 + 2023

Cederberg Shiraz 2010, Wo Cederberg
South Africa$24.95

>1st one was a gift to Ann & George
> had # 2 sometime in 2018 but not really memorable other than it didn't wow me.
> March 2019....had with beef chestnut stew, really enjoyed it, rich and flavourful,
so much so difficult to drink a lot in one sitting....would buy again but maybe only one instead of 3.
