Torres Salmos 2012, Doca Priorat
Priorat, Spain$39.95
x2018+2020x
2019+2022
October 2019...wow! Loved it! Previous Priorat's I have had have been on the harsher side (need lots of aeration) but this was beautiful from the start. Loved everything about it....smooth & full bodied, tons of flavour. Have with strong flavoured Mediterranean food.

Dec 2019....xmas gift to Kim & Kelly
Jan 2021....good wine, strong full bodied, needs a comparable food match. Tested best on day 3 so aeration appears to benefit and soften it (similar to Priorat! what do you know!!). (90)
Château Carignan Prima 2015, Ac Côtes De Bordeaux Cadillac
Bordeaux, France$33.95
fall 2021
(pure merlot)
March 2022.....typical French aromas and taste, quite enjoyed it though with a chicken WeCook meal. Better after some aeration. A little pricey when matched with my enjoyment but not disappointed that I bought it.

June 2021....it was ok and had toned down no doubt over time. The flavour of this wine is so different and unusual. Was a novelty at first but quite honestly has worn off on me. Don't buy again.

Sept 2019....gave to Smitty at cottage
Nov 2021.....strong bold wine, had with bbq steak which is what it needed, enjoyed but had that French flavour that I sometimes not a big fan of. All told, glad I opened it, enjoyed it, but didn't really need to drink again but I will next summer.
June 2023...same as above, till drinkable, finish last one this year (missing one??). Red meat a must!
Luis Felipe Edwards L F E 900 Single Vineyard Blend 2012

Ama Chianti Classico 2016, Docg, Tuscany
Tuscany, Italy$35.95
December 2020...had with gnocchi Bolognese, was hoping for something great given the high ratings of the same vintage Grand Selezone....might want to buy more, but don't think I will. Nice enough but on the lighter and tarter side of CC, I like them a little fuller and richer. Lots of tart red berries, thin.
If $23 would repurchase but not at $35.
2017 and especially 2018 supposed to be better.
