October 2019...wow! Loved it! Previous Priorat's I have had have been on the harsher side (need lots of aeration) but this was beautiful from the start. Loved everything about it....smooth & full bodied, tons of flavour. Have with strong flavoured Mediterranean food.

2022, 2023, 2024 + gift 1 or 2
gift to Smitty?
winter 2022....had one but don't recall much. My gut says I was expecting more, disappointed it wasn't better, was hoping to gift a few but maybe not if flavours are not everyone's cup of tea.
Sept 2023....absolutely delicious, drinking beautifully right now.
Nov 2025.....still very enjoyable, little loss of purity. would repurchase with pleasure. Had with pork loin roast, nice.
......don't think any left, possibly did gift one (Smitty most likely suspect).

Wine Enthusiast
Made entirely with Sangiovese, this offers aromas of spicy plum, violet, blackberry, toast and a whiff of oak-driven spice. The firmly structured palate delivers black cherry, clove, anise and a note of grilled sage alongside assertive tannins that leave an astringent finish. Give it time to unwind. Drink 2017–2025.

MAY 2023....at Dianne and Nick's place. Best Rose I've ever tasted, absolutely delicious, could drink this all day long, in fact I easily polished off 2/3rds of the bottle. Dry, elegant, flavourful, smooth (no rough edges whatsoever), very satisfying. Worked great with pot luck hors d'ovaries.
Recognizing this was a stellar year, would absolutely consider buying again. (91)

(?) 2020.....had one at some point, was ok as I recall but that's it. Would probably have gifted last one but perhaps a little too aged....drink soon.
March 2021....very nice, went with all the 4 different meals I through at it. An enjoyable GSM.
