Great buy in a classic Coonawarra shiraz. Penley is a consistently good producer, and at under $20 this is a steal....

Delicious Shiraz for the price. Very approachable. An hour or two in the decanter really opened up the intense aromas. Awesome value and a definite crowd pleaser!

Fruity without being jammy. Nice complexity, well worth the price. Bought three more.

Very good Shiraz from the cool climate of Australia's Coonawarra region, aromas of dark fruits and red berries. Spices and pepper are also apparent on the palate and the nose. Firm tannins and yet it has a velvety texture with chocolate smoothness and taste. Oak aging is well integrated with subtle notes of vanillin. Excellent length. Great buy for Shiraz lovers, definitely a repeat purchase.

It's only wine but I like it

I like the fact that this shiraz is less heavy/jammy compared to some Aussie shiraz. but the oak here , specifically the American oak, just overwhelms the fruit and really detracts. Not for me. Tasted June 2017.

Not getting it. Not jammy, but also lacks any depth. Not flabby but over acidified, almost artificial. Short finish

Love other producers' Coonawara cabs but this is an also ran. Tried 2 different bottles from different stores. Returning the rest
