100% Sangiovese. The fresh, medium-high to highly aromatic nose is elegantly fragrant with ripe dark berry, black-blue fruit, savoury oak, earthy, and mineral aromas. It's medium to medium-full bodied on the dry, crunchy palate with lovely, well-balanced aroma replays on the flavour profile. It has fresh acidity and smooth, refined tannins. Long and refreshing on the finish. Tasted Oct. 2023.

Firm, structured Chianti Classico from Lornano, as I have come to expect. Richer, riper, and more tannic than most CC, this is just edging into prime-time drinking window. Lots of red cherry fruit, backed by hints of oak and finishing with good acidity. Really delicious wine. Drink now through the next 5 years +. Tasted August 2026.
