Blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre raised in concrete tanks. Ripe, fruit forward, medium-high intensity nose of red plum, raspberry, cherry aromas. It is light-to-medium bodied with spicy, stony and peppery flavours joining the red berry fruits. It has fresh acids, elegant tannins, and very good finish length. Tasted Apr/2019. Score: 88+ pts

An all-too-easy to drink CdR again this vintage. Easy tannin and crisp acidity underpin the herb-tinged black fruit. Seems to be a hint of sweetness on the finish, though at 5g/L residual sugar, this is more likely due to th higher ripeness of the fruit than any sugar. Picked up on sale for 30% off in Toronto (pre-Covid). Tatsed March 2020.
