Enjoyed this on the weekend with pasta. Exceptional fruit on the palate but only after allowing the wine to breath. I will decant in the future. Excellent QPR.

Fine CdR from the excellent producer. Fine purity of character, the herb and black pepper accented fruit is there in spades with some noted tannin clipping the finish for now. I'd suggest decanting if for current consumption or giving it another 18-24 months. Montfaucon always delivers, even at modest prices levels. Note: even better on night 2.... Tasted Oct 2026.
