Foris Vineyards Gewürztraminer 2013, Rogue Valley

This wine just didn't come together for me. The aroma was awkward when compared to other Gewürztraminers. The flavour profile was definitely greener - showing its Oregonian roots. Not a wine I would purchase when other competing bottles present a more composed package.

This was overly sweet and sticky. It will appeal to some, not to me.

Fairview Shiraz 2013, Wo Coastal Region

I am generally a fan of South African wines. I like their rustic qualities, and unique flavours. This Shiraz, however, is a bit too much for me. It is a powerful wine, with powerful barnyard flavours. You should really like that aspect of South African wines to purchase this one.
