Nice fruit on the nose and palate with a hint of sweetness. I think I'll have to pick up a few more of this easy drinking white.

Jean Geiler Prestige Brut Crémant D'alsace, Ac Alsace

Tasted this Cremant blind against other sparkling, including a Champagne at three times the price. It's very good for the price and true to the tasting note above.

Rolly Gassmann Weingarten De Rorschwihr Sylvaner 2009, Alsace

Light floral and honey aromas, off-dry, pear and citrus on the palate. Paired very well with the mild curry flavour of my husband's Mulligatawny Soup.

Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, Columbia Valley

Full bodied with rich dark fruit and spice flavours and aromas. A touch too much alcohol, but still and enjoyable wine.

Easy drinking syrah with a little black currant and pepper on the nose and palate. Enjoyed this with a great meal at the Eco Lodge on Saba Island. - Dec 2012

I liked David's comment 'stylish if unusual'. I haven't had many new world oaked Sauvignon blancs. Full bodied, lush, but certainly not typical New Zealand style.

Yalumba Y Series Riesling 2010, South Australia

Light bodied and dry with crisp green apple and lemon acidity.

Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel 2009, Sonoma County

Aromas of plum, cherry and vanilla. Soft tannins that seem to hide the high alocohol. Medium to full bodied, with a medium + finish. Ready to drink now but could improve. Yum!
