I must have tasted a different batch. I did not find this to be an impressive Sauvignon Blanc. Especially at this price.

Nice full bodied wine with lots of fruit and pepper on the nose and palate - but not jammy.

Excellent Riesling. Off dry, fruity and spicy with a luscious finish. Yum!

Bodega Del Abad Dom Bueno Crianza 2001, Do Bierzo

I decanted this one off the sediment and let it stand for 30 minutes (thanks Dan & Blair above). Very nice wine, I'm glad I bought more.

Fontanafredda Barolo 2007, Piedmont

Pale garnet colour, quite pronounced aromas of red fruit, floral and a nice earthiness. It's medium bodied with a long finish.

Mont Marçal Brut Reserva Cava, Do

This cava scored high in a blind tasting with friends. At this price, you really could drink a great sparkling every day. I'm going to stock up for the holidays.

I'm agreeing totally with Andrew's review on this one. Very nice.

Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc 2011, Marlborough

Crisp, fresh with lots of fruit on the nose and palate. Nice balance and mouth feel.

Vicchiomaggio Agostino Petri Chianti Classico Riserva 2008, Docg

This wine was a value standout for me at the Chianti Classico tasting last week. I'm putting it on my shopping list for the 26th release.
