St. Urbans Hof Ockfener Bockstein Riesling Kabinett 2011, Prädikatswein
Mosel, Germany$24.85
Excellent Riesling. Off dry, fruity and spicy with a luscious finish. Yum!
Catena Zapata Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, Mendoza
Argentina$19.95
The taste confirms the great nose of plum and cherry. Medium to full bodied; paired well with a rare grilled steak. I'm glad I have a couple more to enjoy at a later date as I think it will hold for a bit.
Dr. Hermann Erdener Treppchen Kabinett Riesling 2008, Pradikätswein
Mosel, Germany$16.95
I'm agreeing totally with Andrew's review on this one. Very nice.
Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel 2009, Sonoma County
California, Usa$29.95
Aromas of plum, cherry and vanilla. Soft tannins that seem to hide the high alocohol. Medium to full bodied, with a medium + finish. Ready to drink now but could improve. Yum!
Jackson Triggs Okanagan Estate Proprietors' Grand Reserve Shiraz 2006, VQA Okanagan Valley
British Columbia, Canada$19.95
What a great wine. Rich and smooth with flavours of chocolate and cherry, but not jammy or overly sweet. I wish I had more.
Terre Di Rubinoro Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano 2006, Docg
Tuscany, Italy$17.95
Even after three years in my cellar, John's notes are holding true. Really enjoying this wine and wishing that I had another.
The Foundry Syrah 2005, Wo Coastal Region
South Africa$19.95
Very nice, full-bodied syrah. Paired it with a roast beef and mushroom gravy. I like this style of wine.
