A bit on the pricey side right now, but I would be interested in tasting this again in a couple years. Has definite potential.

De Bortoli Noble One Botrytis Semillon 2008, New South Wales (375ml)

Absolutely wonderful. As good as many of the best French Sauterrnes style wines. Tasted March 2012.

Devaux Cuvée Rosée Brut Champagne

Dunham Cellars Syrah 2005, Columbia Valley

Very nice Syrah. Found several wines diamonds (tartrates) on the cork upon opening it, so best to decant before drinking. Silky smooth finish. Tasted February 2012.

Closson Chase South Clos Vineyard Chardonnay 2010, VQA Prince Edward County

Lots of buttery oak on the palate. Nice length on the finish. A pretty good Chardonnay from Prince Edward County. Tasted February 2013.

Schloss Reinhartshausen Erbacher Schlossberg Riesling Spätlese 2005, Prädikatswein

Wow - this is one great wine. Golden coloured. Fruits and honey on the nose. Although it starts off on the sweet side,it finishes medium sweet. I really enjoyed this wine, and under $20 I will be picking up a few more for the cellar. Tasted October 2012.

Dog Point Vineyard Chardonnay 2009

A nice New Zealand chardonnay. Noticeable flavours of tropical fruits on the palate. Went well with cedar wrapped salmon. Tasted May 2012.

De Loach Durell Vineyard Pinot Noir 2009, Sonoma Coast

Calera Chardonnay Mt. Harlan 2013, Central Coast

Keint He Little Creek Pinot Noir 2007, Prince Edward County

Such a nice wine. We picked up a bottle at the winery after seeing it featured by wine align in one of their episodes of "So You Think You Know Wine". In hindsight, I'm wishing we had of picked up a few more as I'm told that it is now completely sold out.

Flavours of cherries, blackberries, and leather. I also detected a slight smokiness. The tannins are nice and light, as is expected from a pinot. Excellent length on the finish. Tasted October 2012.
