Calamus Cosmic White 2009, VQA Niagara Peninsula

A blend of 85% Riesling, 10% Chardonnay,, and 5% Gewürztraminer. Pale yellow colour. Flora scents on the nose. Light and slightly sweet, with tropical fruit flavours. Noticeable oak. 12.4% alcohol. Tasted December 2011 and January 2012.

A popular brand with many, but very average at best. It appealed to me more when I first began trying wine. As my palate has become more refined, I find that I don't much care for it anymore.

Pretty average and not very memorable. Slightly sour tasting. I've had much worse, but it's still not something I'd be in a rush to buy again. Tasted February 2012.

Pleasant chardonnay. Creamy oak, with tropical fruit on the palate. Tasted March 2012.
