Smooth and not overtly sweet. Strong raspberry flavour. A nice treat for dessert. Goes nicely when mixed with prosecco.

Wow, what a nice white wine. Fresh, and pleasing with interesting minerality. Smooth with well balanced acidity. Flavours of citrus fruits with a subtle touch of black licorice. Tasted February 2012.

A lovely new world pinot. A little on the pricey side, but if you're looking for something that need not to be shaken nor stirred, then this is a perfect choice to pair with your favourite James Bond flick. Tasted January 2013.

Hewitson Miss Harry 2009, Barossa Valley, South Australia Bottle
Hewitson Miss Harry 2009, Barossa Valley, South Australia
South Australia, Australia
$19.95

A very enjoyable red blend of Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre, Cinsault and Carignan from Australia's Barossa Valley. Medium bodied with light tannins, but still packing some punch with its 14% alcohol. Flavours of dark berries, cherries, pepper, and leather. Priced at under $24, this wine is an excellent value. Tasted May 2012.

Average in comparison to other sauternes I've tasted. Not bad, but not great either.
