would have had either in 2019 or 20....recollection was I quite liked it ths one vs others I have had. Not the first vintage I have purchased. A solid mid-range malbec that requires time in the bottle is how I would sum this one up.

May 2019....has survived to this late date and drank well with bbq steak on a Sunday night with Andrew & Crystal over for dinner. Respectable wine given the price but doesn't compete with some of the more refined Carmeneres.

Falernia Syrah Reserva 2010, Elqui Valley

April 2019...had with chili which worked great....did have a wow factor, smooth, flavourful but also had that Chilean note (think Sideral) you sometimes find but all in all a good wine at a good price....second vintage (previous 2009) that I have enjoyed.

May 2018....with salmon....really quite enjoyed.....up to 5 years cellaring so just snuck it in without any apparent degradation :-) Has substance! NZ Pinot's are good.

.....April 2019....kinda left too long, was barely ok to drink but drank it anyway....hard to say what it might have tasted like in its prime.
