Thanksgiving 2018....brought to Dave & Rona`s to have with dinner....was quite disappointed given the 90-91 ratings (maybe look at who gave them), seemed soft and unexciting, not the flavour I was looking for....love a good Ripasso but wouldn't buy this again.

January, 2020....generally love this grape, this wine no exception. Had with cabbage rolls, worked well enough. Good wine, great value.

August 2022....quite enjoyed this wine though it wouldn't be a staple in my cellar. It was refreshingly different, almost like drinking a white but with red berry flavours (a very smooth fruity rose??). Glad I purchased.

August 2020....had with asian marinated pork chops, maybe not the best match but wine was good. Rich & smooth but didn't think it was as good as Frei Brothers version (2012) which I loved a lot! Still, a good wine to have with the right meal.

Dec 2020...delicious, loved it so much drank half bottle without batting an eye. Had with Maunder's butter chicken, went very well I thought. Lovely smooth velvet feel, dark fruit, rich, so enjoyable. Might have to keep last one (not gift)...drink 2022?

Xmas 2018....at Dave & Rona's for dinner....was decent, smooth and easy drinking, not offensive in any way but also nothing terribly exciting either.
