The nose is seductive - perfume like offering fresh cherries, violets and rose petals, herbal cough syrup, mint, cherry-chocolates and more. Very seductive. The palate is smooth and creamy with super fine tannins. It has a long herbal induced finish. Punches way above the price!

Absolutely delicious. Smooooth and full of flavor. Not dry. First time trying a Malbec. Great wine for good price.
Tasted Nov 2013.
This is a great malbec, and an impressive value at the currently reduced price of 24.95. A real pie full of blueberry, black plum and concord grape on the nose, combined with aggressive violet and medicinal notes. On the palate is it indeed very suave, well-woven and complete; swathed in dark fruit pie and purple flowers, with a graceful texture, smooth acids; and something of a minerality!? Drinking now perhaps its best on day 3; and after attending the Chilean wine show last night, my first thought was that they all could learn a thing or two from this wine.
Excellent with herb encrusted BBQ leg of lamb. Ready now, Sept 2015.
A beautiful Malbec...

This Malbec took me by surprise, and I was taken where I would rather not go. Maybe there was too much "blue-fruit inflected" or liquorice or mint or herbal cough syrup, but I did not get the rich taste I expect from a good Malbec. But I understand why others might think it is a good wine.
