Among the best buys in Rioja this year with very good depth, style and balance for the price. The nose is subtle but...
An old school style, deep garnet coloured red from Rioja here, with plenty of concentrated fig, raisin and date...

What an amazing value from a great value driven producer. This wine screams Rioja and is a pleasure to enjoy with balanced oak treatment (not too heavy) and classic Rioja flavours. Slightly stewed tomatoes and those sweet and savoury asian sauce characteristics are present but not over powering nor over stewed as in some Rioja's.
The wine is smooth and long lasting. A pleasure!
This light to medium bodied, fruity to integrated wine is acidic at the beginning and really needs to open up for more than an hour before being quite nice and flavourful. Aromas consist of raspberry, strawberry, red currant as well as oak and vanilla. The finish is medium and the wine can benefit (not much) from aging for up to two more years. My impression: NICE, especially at this price. Tasted Jan/10.

Very light bodied, linear with minimal complexity, the nose is so subtle as to be almost non-existent, my initial thoughts were this is so light its like drinking grape juice! Drank better the following night. Well integrated tannins, definitely an easy sipper but found it lighter than most Pinot Noir. Not impressed enough to buy again.
