Not sure if there's a better Baco noir made on the planet. It rustic but smooth showing sweet and sour cherries, smoky plum, leather, mud, wet leaves -medium to full bodied silky tannins - its beyond well made - it's perfectly balanced & structured. Oh Yaaaaaaaaaaaaa the right stuff!

The Speck Brothers at Henry of Pelham reign as the Baco Noir kings. Their Reserve Baco is consistently the best in Ontario. This Baco Noir is like Russel Crowe riding a horse through muddy water. Its intense, rugged, and smells like a long wet leather jacket. Pair this with roast beef and saddle up on the 3:10 to Yuma.

Medium+ ruby in colour with a medium+ intense nose.
Consistently, Canada’s best Baco Noir is Henry of Pelham’s reserve
Positives: This complex wine features cedar, smoky embers, Gaeta olives, bacon, prunes, dark cherry, strawberry, raspberry, black currants, blueberry, chocolate, Portobello mushrooms & leather. Full body with medium tannins, good acidity and a long length.
Negatives: None
Interesting Point: I recommend using a Pinot glass and lightly chill it.
Drink now or over the next 2 years on its own or pair it with a melody of olives in olive oil.
