This an old school, farmy red worthy of great stinky French cheese. Expect horse stable, black olive, prune, leather...
Here's an unusual Rhône wine with pronounced oak influence and a concentrated, black fruit, dried savoury herb, dried...

Nice wine! Great Value!
90?-Sep 2010-Another great 2007 example from this small region. Outstanding value. On the nose-flowers; violets and jasmin with hints of oak. on the palate, medium-full body with black berries and sweet pleasant finish. buy for now and for the next few years. Goes very well with veal or steak.
What a smooth wine here. The nose is very inviting here; black fruits, plums, cherry, black olives and earthy. Medium to full body, balance acidity with dusty tannins. Long sweet and refreshing finish. Again fine wine from this 2007 Rhône vintage.

May 2013: Quite evolved now, with the fruit into the secondary stage. Lovley nose of violets, and just loaded with flavour. Drink soon, but still so delicious.
Sept 2011: Finally got around to cracking one of these open. A very nice surprise, combining clean ripe fruit flavours with lots of herb and garigue character -- rates high on the umami scale. Will hold well for a couple of years yet, but raring to go now.
Tasted December 2011.
Structured and length is right.
Smells of wet cardboard, rotting leaves, wet soaks that were forgotten in a corner of you room for a few days. Corked. After that, I never bothered tasting it. Back to the Vintages for a refund. A shame, I was looking forward to trying this after all the positive notes. Smelled Dec 2011.
