Medium ruby/purple with medium minus intensity aromas of cherry, strawberry, perfume, oak, plum, licorice, and some earthy aromas.
Medium-intensity flavors of plum, oak, earthy dried herbs, candied cherry, and balsamic. Medium plus acidity with soft tannins with a medium finish. Fantastic with spaghetti and meatballs, a delicious and inviting wine.
Composed of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, this has a fresh, medium-high intensity nose with intriguing wood spice, exotic spices, licorice, and dark berry aromas. The nose follows through on the medium-full bodied palate with elegant, youthful tannins, and fresh, balanced acidity. Very good length on the finish. Tasted May 2022.
