Red berry fruit and spice on the nose. Very fruity and easy-drinking with a medium body. Excellent value.

Cherry and blackberry on the nose with some tabacco. Medium-bodied with some good fruitiness, but nothing of any substance.

Obikwa Shiraz 2010, Western Cape

Smoky, chocolate, peppery, meaty, and prunes on the nose. These flavours carry through to the palate. Plenty of ripe fruit and a lingering aftertaste. Simple wine, but excellent value.

Cono Sur Bicycle Merlot 2009, Central Valley

Plums, raspberry, coffee on the nose with some vegetal notes. Lots of fruit on the palate with some greenish tannins. Not fully balanced and may be best drunk now.
