Great value. You could spend twice as much and not get anything better. A perfectly serviceable dry rose that goes well with food and has no obvious flaws.

Quite a decent wine for 9 bucks. Smooth on entry, if slightly harsh at the finish. Good acidity and fairly dry but still rounded. Not hugely complex but pleasant.

Agree with dosgringos: a big change in character from prior vintages. Still acceptable but sweetness level has been ramped up. Reminds me of wine you get in economy class on Air Canada. Periquita is another cheap Portuguese that has lost its way.

Beppi Crosariol gave this 87 points, which baffles me. Quite inoffensive but not thrilling either. Slight sweeetness which is unwelcome. Very short finish. I think I need to look elsewhere for a cheap summer rose. Clearly one needs to spend a buck or two more.
